2024 Derby Down: A Day At The Races - SOLD OUT
Event Information
On Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 12:00pm to 4:30pm at the horse racing infield of The Big Fresno Fairgrounds, join the La Feliz Guild of Valley Children’s Healthcare to benefit the health and well-being of our Valley’s children at our annual signature fundraiser – Derby Down: A Day at the Races.
This party, held on the same day as the actual Kentucky Derby, is a fun, upscale event. In 2023, over 800 guests joined us for this great event, and thanks to their compassion and generosity, La Feliz Guild was able to contribute $372,000 to Valley Children’s Healthcare. Sponsoring this event gives you a unique opportunity to thank key customers, reward your team members or just have fun with friends and family.

What To Expect
Dress in your Derby finest and join us for a fabulous afternoon where you’ll enjoy:
– Fine Southern cuisine under a big top tent that serves as our Dining Pavilion
– A hosted bar with libations from Donaghy Sales & Valley Wide Beverage. Plus, no Kentucky Derby party would be complete without free flowing Mint Juleps & Dixieland music
– Shopping the various vendor booths while viewing the latest luxury automobiles
– Mobile bidding on fabulous items at our Silent Auction, and the opportunity to bid on Live Auction items
– Private satellite wagering on the Kentucky Derby as well as other prestigious races across the country. Watch the races throughout the day on our stunning, jumbo LED video screens while placing your bets and collecting your winnings right there on the infield!
